AbouT Me
HI! My Name is Kim Tredinnick...
I'm a 30-something Jersey Girl living her dream of residing in NYC. I work full-time in Human Resources at a Foundation and am pursuing my Master's degree part-time at NYU. So how does a busy girl like me find time to travel?
It all started after graduating from college... I started doing contract work for various Theatre companies throughout the United States and my love of travel was born. I was forced to live a nomad lifestyle and found myself moving every 3 to 6 months. After two years of this, I decided to plant some roots in my dream city, NYC!
Unable to live off of my small paychecks from the Theatre industry, I transitioned into a full-time role in the HR department of a corporation. With a new home base, the travel bug didn't go away and I started traveling whenever I could.
Not only do I love exploring different countries and cities - travel has also been therapeutic for me. In 2014, I was diagnosed with Depression and found my world spiraling out of control. I found taking trips to be a way to escape and reflect on everything going on around me. Four years later, I'm healthier and stronger than ever, but travel continues to be something I turn to when I need a break from life.
It has been many years since I moved to NYC. I'm currently very busy working full-time and going to grad school part-time. I barely have time to breathe, but I always find a way to travel. This blog will allow me to share with others how to travel while still maintaining a 9 to 5.
xoxo - Kim
