2018 - Year in Review
2018 was a roller coaster of a year for me. Looking back, I honestly can’t believe how much has happened.
I started off the year by finishing up my final semester of graduate school. After graduation, I found myself doing some serious soul searching - with all of my new found free time and my friends entering new chapters of their lives, I had to figure out what I wanted to do and how I wanted to spend my time. I fell hard for a guy I met during my travels and he inevitably broke my heart. I made the decision to leave a job that was unfulfilling and after months of interviewing I landed my dream job - I now work for a global company where I’m the sole HR employee in the US. I’m able to work independently while also travel often to Europe. I made new friends who I love dearly. Also, I started dating a new guy this fall and I am beyond excited to see where the new year takes our relationship. The future has never looked so bright!
2018 was also the year when I took my travels up a notch. I decided at the start of the year that my new years resolution was to take one trip a month or 12 trips total in 2018.. and I succeeded! Here is a recap in pictures on all of the trips I took this year:
Went all the way to the top of The Shard in London.
Went skiing on all of the moguls in Vermont.
Had a blast on a solo cruise!
Enjoyed the summer sun with my nephews in Houston.
More family fun at the Jersey Shore.
Drank all of the wine at the wineries in the Hamptons.
Visited my fave city of Paris and saw Sacre Coeur de Montmarte for the third time
Took in the beautiful views in Prague.
Found the Fearless Girl in Oslo.
Visited breweries in the Catskills with new friends.
Took a road trip to Philly with my love and only managed to take this one semi-bad picture.
And lastly, lots of holiday celebrating with family in Houston.
It was a busy year! And I’m so excited for all of the traveling I already have planned for 2019. I already have a trip to Florida, two European trips and a potential Vegas trip on the books. The possibilities are endless!
What about you? Where have you traveled this year? Share in the comments below!
